Stagecoach Steamboat Springs from Steamboat Springs on Vimeo.
Stagecoach Reservoir is located about a fifteen minute drive from downtown Steamboat and is a great place for you and your family to relax for a day in Steamboat. With different boats available for rent – pontoon, speed boats, kayaks and paddle boats, your family can get out and enjoy the sunny days in Steamboat while you sneak down to the end of the Reservoir to fly-fish. The best place to head is down to Pleasant Valley, just a 3 minute drive down the road past the marina. This will give you access to some of the most beautiful areas in the Valley. And while weekends and mornings are often the busiest, if you are willing to drive a bit further down the road you can often enjoy a solitary morning and still be back to relax on the Stagecoach beach with your family by mid-afternoon.
Above is a very short clip coming over the damn and over Stagecoach Reservoir. The video then cuts back and goes back over top of the tail waters. To see more video footage of the tailwaters that are just off of Stagecoach Reservoir, check out Pleasant Valley.
